Our AAPP website features digitised colour slides of military aircraft from the 70s to early 90s and digital photos of military aircraft (post-1995), and civil aircraft. Associated Aviation Photo Press was founded in 1972 by Henk Schakelaar, together with Peter Jongbloed and Miel Ribbe.
If you sign up for the website you will receive an email when a new gallery is published.

This gallery will feature rare black and white photos of 10 of the 48 KLM Constellations that were in service from 1946 to 1965.

Digitised Slides After founding AAPP in 1972, our agency was permitted to visit USAF/NAVY airbases after being screened by the Pentagon/CIA and the Dutch National Security Service AIVD. This allowed us to photograph during flight operations and movements, thus building a unique 70s, 80s and early 90s military aircraft photo collection.
Around 2010, we began digitising these slides, to make them accessible to the general public.
Military Aviation We switched to digital photography around 1995. This was a major change that also increased the number of photos we could take during press visits and airshows. Visiting airbases, exercises, and events allows us to capture a wide variety of military aircraft, featured in this section.

Civil Aviation We publish a growing number of civil aircraft photos in this section of our website. Operational activities around the aircraft also have our interest as well as galleries focusing on museums, and wrecks and relics. As we like variety, you will also find photos of the public and spotters in most of our galleries.

This gallery offers astonishing photos we made in 1974 and 1978 of the Navy Fighter Weapons School TOPGUN, featuring A-4 (with and without camouflage), F-5, F-14 and F-4 aircraft, including two F-4 Phantoms from VF-121 squadron that launched TOPGUN.
