LIMA 2023
LIMA is a 2 yearly event, first held in 1991, offering excellent opportunities for aircraft photography at various locations around Langkawi airport, Malaysia. This gallery features our initial selection of photos from the 2023 exhibition with emphasis on RMAF Sukhoi Su-30s and F/A-18D Hornets as well as the aerobic teams August 1 from China and the Russian Knights.
The trip was efficiently organized by 4Aviation (www.4aviation.nl) with most participants travelling from Amsterdam, while I departed from Bangkok, where I live during autumn and winter.

LIMA 2023, held from May 23 thru 27 marked the 16th edition (the 2019th was cancelled due to Covid) and attracted over 600 exhibitors from 30 nations and more then 100 aircraft, including 5 aerobic teams. LIMA is considered the biggest exhibition of its kind in South-East Asia.
Three other teams present at the 2023 exhibition (Korean Black Eagles, UAE AF Al Fursan and Indonesian AF Jupiters) will be presented in a future AAPP gallery.
